O Le Vaiaso Lona Lima: Tautua 🤲🏾✨
Week 5: Service | Facilitator: Krystal
We must serve ourselves to serve others. Tautua comes in many forms. Sometimes we think service means leading large groups or speaking in front of hundreds, but sometimes it begins with how we show up for ourselves and tend to the things that fill our cups.
Service can look like checking in on a friend, caring for our fanua, nurturing our elders, or showing up for our families, our people, and our culture. Week 5, we deeply reflected on how service lives in the little things and how our culture continues to thrive through those who give, nurture, and care for one another.
E lē tasi se tagata e mafai ona amoina le nu’u atoa. We are reminded that service doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful. At its heart, Tautua is about caring for and uplifting something greater than ourselves.
As we continue to live out our program theme, “E fesoasoani — together we help one another. One burden must not be carried alone. We go further when we serve together. ♥️✨🇦🇸🇦🇸
