Strength in Sisters Providing social, educational and vocational support to some of Zambia's most vulnerable girls and young women.

Who We Are....

Strength in Sisters is a collaboration between two organizations, Strength in Sisters - Zambia and Strength in Sisters - US. Each is dedicated to intervening on behalf of some of the most vulnerable girls and young women of Zambia. Our goal is to reduce teen pregnancies and early marriages and to empower girls and young women to be active agents in their own futures, as well as those of their families and communities. We do this by providing Social, Educational and eventually Vocational Support Systems customized to each participant and her family's needs.

We’ve been quiet on here, but behind the scenes, we’ve been actively engaging in focus group discussions on equality, gender-based violence (GBV), and human rights.

In collaboration with Act Ubumbano, we’re creating safe spaces for meaningful conversations, sharing experiences, challenging inequalities, and amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.

Because real change begins when we listen, learn, and stand together for a more just and equal society!
