After discovering a love for sailing at a young age, College of Arts and Letters at San Diego State University--The Official Page alumnus Erik Hallback ('21) knew he wanted to attend a California university on the coast.

Finding the perfect fit at San Diego State University, Erik went on to study political science while competing with the San Diego State University Sailing Team, where he found a community both on and off the water.

Today, as the Junior Sailing Director at the San Diego Yacht Club, Erik inspires the next generation of sailors through youth programs while continuing to support SDSU's sailing team and helping fellow Aztecs thrive.
