Rotarians At Work Day 2026 | PATH/Urban Angels Dining Hall.

Our Rotarians and volunteers prepped, packaged, and served warm meals to underprivileged San Diegans residing at PATH Transitional Housing.

PATH/Urban Angels is a nonprofit organization formed to nourish and provide food for the homeless in San Diego. From cooking to serving to cleaning, Urban Angels runs the entire kitchen at Connections Housing, a state-of-the-art service center and residential community designed to reduce street homelessness. They provide food services to Connections residents 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Friday night volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank. Our group packaged oranges and potatoes. It was our 7th time volunteering.

We had a wonderful visit from our District 5340 Governor Luis Carranza and Assistant Governor Lloyd Weaver (From the Point Loma Rotary Club). Luis delivered an inspirational speech that covered valuable insights and recommendations to enhance our club's growth, service, and fellowship. We also had the opportunity to induct our newest member Yingkang Lu into our club. Looking forward to a great year under the leadership of Luis.
