Hello Everyone!
We are the Miss Vietnam San Diego (MVSD) Royal Court of 2024 and we are leading EMpower Skin Health. Our mission is to raise educational awareness about serious skin conditions and the importance of maintaining dermatological wellness. Through project EMpower Skin Health we plan to provide individuals experiencing homelessness with skin health products that will protect them from experiencing significant dermatological conditions.
Individuals experiencing homelessness are disproportionately affected by severe skin conditions such as skin cancer, eczema, and bacterial infections. These issues impact San Diegans at an increased rate due to greater sun exposure and warmer temperatures, which homeless people experience excessively, as they are often exposed to harsh weather conditions, lack of adequate clothing, and minimal proper hygiene measures.

The monetary donations we collect will go towards purchasing unopened travel-sized skin health products. Whether you can donate $5 or $20, anything you can contribute will be used to make a tangible difference to those experiencing homelessness and unable to purchase these important products.
