Sucess story (Amy Delphiya Mary from India)
Thanks to the unwavering full financial support of the Capan Foundation, I was able to complete my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Yet, my ambition to advance my education didn’t stop there. I’ve always been drawn to the field of data science and technology, and I longed to pursue a Master’s degree in Data Analytics particularly from a well-regarded program that perfectly aligns with my major. This higher degree would equip me with the latest technologies and skills, allowing me to enhance my capabilities and take my career to the next level.
However, financial limitations within my family made this goal feel like an impossible dream. The cost of studying abroad, especially in a prestigious institution, was far beyond what we could afford. For a time, I believed this dream would remain out of reach. But when the Capan Foundation learned about my aspirations, they stepped in to offer their incredible support. They agreed to fund half of the costs, making my dream of further education a tangible reality.
Today, I am pursuing my MSc in Data Analytics at the National College of Ireland, a prestigious institution known for its innovative programs. The experience has been nothing short of transformative. Throughout my time here, I’ve connected with classmates from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have shared their own challenges in financing their education. Some struggled with securing loans, while others worked part-time to make ends meet. In contrast, I feel immensely fortunate that my financial concerns have been alleviated, thanks to the generosity of the Capan Foundation. This has allowed me to fully focus on my studies, and I am determined to graduate within a year.
Studying in Ireland has broadened my perspective in ways I never anticipated. As an Indian girl, this is my first time abroad, and I am in awe of the advanced technologies and innovations I’ve encountered here. The exposure to cutting-edge developments in Data Analytics, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with brilliant minds from around the world, has been deeply inspiring. The learning environment is rich with knowledge, and the emphasis on applying theory to real-world problems resonates perfectly with my career ambitions.
Living in Ireland has shown me the immense potential of technology and its impact on industries globally. I am inspired by the ways in which data science is shaping the future, and I’m excited to be a part of this revolution. The support I’ve received from the Capan Foundation has not only made my education possible but has also reinforced my belief in the power of education to transform lives. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to turn my dreams into reality, and I look forward to contributing to the field of Data Analytics in the near future.
