унікального оберега з квітів.
Вінкоплетіння на Купала - це давній український магічний обряд. В цей день дівчата
збирають польові квіти, трави, вплітаючи їх з побажаннями на щастя та долю, а
ввечері пускають вінки на воду, щоб поворожити на заміжжя та здійснення бажань.
Відроджуємо традиції з плетіння купальських вінків із Тетяною Вережак
Принесіть із собою:

Вчора було все — багато сміху, ностальгії, донатів на сили оборони!

Дякуємо василь байдак , що у своєму великому турі Канадою та США не оминув Сан-Дієґо! Неймовірний вечір, який запамʼятається надовго!

Більше 90 гостей — дякуємо, що купуєте квитки та берете участь в аукціоні! Таких швидких аукціонів ми ще не бачили, але навіть з обмеженнями в часі Василь зібрав близько $4,500 на захисниць та захисників України.

Thank You for an Unforgettable Evening!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the Bandurists Concert on Saturday, June 13.
Seeing a full audience of 350 people was truly inspiring and speaks volumes about the enduring interest in Ukrainian culture. It reminds us that Ukrainian music and traditions remain relevant, resilient, unique, and deeply moving to people of all backgrounds.
We were especially delighted to see so many new faces in the audience. Thank you for your curiosity, your support of Ukrainian music, your appreciation of Ukrainian culture, and your solidarity with Ukraine.

House of Ukraine invites you to a singing workshop!
Date & Time: Sunday 21 June from 3-5pm in
Place: House of Ukraine, 667 Pan American Drive West, San Diego.
We will be preparing for Ukrainian midsummer celebrations by learning Kupalo songs with folk singer Olenka Kleban.
No experience necessary!
Text will be provided, with Ukrainian and English transliterations.
Come enjoy a friendly environment of singing for everyone.
Please note that this singing workshop takes place on the Sunday BEFORE our larger, official celebration of Ivana Kupalo. This is so that we can learn some song in advance of the larger festivities taking place on June 27th at DeAnza Cove Park.
A big thank you to the Ivan Honchar Museum for their pedagogical guidance for passing along these traditions via their program “Знай свою Україну”.

On June 13th, join us for an evening with the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus of North America, featuring a Q&A session followed by a live concert!

Hosted by the Center for World Music, the Q&A will explore the bandura, its role in Ukrainian culture, and the ensemble’s history. The discussion will be led by Laurel Grinnell-Wilson, an ethnomusicologist and professor at SDSU.
