As the nation has been ordered to “socially distance” themselves from others and not congregate in large groups, the decision has been made to POSTPONE A Night to Remember Prom. An event like ANTR, which requires large groups of friends, family and paparazzi to come together in celebration, must happen, but not right now.
What does this mean for you? Here are the answers to your FAQ’s:
• Is ANTR Prom cancelled? NO! We are postponing the event. It is not cancelled.
• What is the new date for ANTR Prom? With the changing status of this pandemic, we will HOLD OFF on announcing the new date until May 1st. Our best estimate is that ANTR will be rescheduled for a date in June or July.
• I am a CONFIRMED Honored Guest. What does that mean for me? ALL Registrations will REMAIN CONFIRMED. Once the new date is announced, we will transfer all Honored Guests to the new date. When the new date is selected, ANTR will then send out an email announcing the new date and, at that time, you can “keep or cancel” your reservation.
• I am on the WAITING LIST as an Honored Guest. What does that mean for me? Everyone on the waiting list will remain on the waiting list, in the order they registered. Once we announce the new date, if our confirmed Honored Guests choose to cancel, we will move those from the waiting list to the confirmed list to fill their spots (in the order they are on the list).
• What happens to my Tuxedo Rental? Men’s Warehouse has kept everyone’s measurements and will transfer your tuxedo rental to our new ANTR event date (once it’s announced). For those that get transferred from the waiting list, you will be sent instructions to be fitted directly at Men’s Warehouse.
• What is happening with my formal dress? We completed all of our Dress fittings. If you had a dress that needed alterations, those dresses are being sewed and completed. You will be contacted by our sewing team to pick up your dress at Eastlake Church when it’s completed. (Please wait patiently for a phone call.) For those that get transferred from the waiting list, they will need to supply their own dress for the night of the dance. We no longer have an inventory of dresses.
• I was registered as a STUDENT HOST, now what? All our student hosts will REMAIN CONFIRMED. Once the new date is announced, we will transfer all Student Hosts to the new date. We will then send out an email and you can “keep or cancel” your reservation. We will fill in the cancellations with students from the current waiting list.
• I was registered as an ADULT VOLUNTEER, now what? All our Adult Volunteers will REMAIN CONFIRMED. Once the new date is announced, we will transfer all Volunteers to the new date. We will then send out an email and you can “keep or cancel” your reservation. We will fill in the cancellations by re-opening our website for those teams that still have openings.
