From the City of San Diego Transportation Dept.

At the request of a member of the community, we evaluated the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Juniper Street for all -way stop signs. The intersection met the criteria established in Council Policy 200-08 for the installation of all- way stop signs at this intersection (SN 40301082942).

At the request of a member of the community, we evaluated the intersection of Third Avenue and Nutmeg Street for all -way stop signs. The intersection met the criteria established in Council Policy 200-08 for the installation of all- way stop signs at this intersection (SN 40301065598).

At the request of a member of the community, we evaluated the intersection of Third Avenue and Olive Street for stop signs. The intersection met the criteria established in Council Policy 200-08 for the installation of stop signs along Third Avenue facing northbound and southbound traffic (SN 40301050573). Please note that the existing yield signs will be replaced by stop signs and appropriate pavement markings.

The Transportation Department crews will be installing the stop signs and pavement markings at these intersection within the next 90 days.

Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Road Closures!
This is a reminder the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon Half Marathon is this weekend on May 31st, 2026. There will also be a 5k on Saturday, May 30th in Balboa Park.

The Quince Street Bridge got some overdue love today. Volunteers with the help of supplies donated by Hillcrest Ace Hardware made San Diego’s oldest bridge (built in 1905) look like almost new.
