HydrateSanDiego

HydrateSanDiego We usually go out once a month on the first Saturday afternoon of that month. The outings usually take 2-3 hours at the most.

We usually buy packaged foods, packaged necessities, soda's, and bottled water then venture out to the streets of downtown San Diego and give to those needing these items...On some occasions we get pizza or make sandwiches

f you want to arrange it
This world you can change it
If we could somehow make this
Christmas thing last

By helping a neighbor
Or even a stranger
And to know who needs help
You need only just ask

Bless you for being so kind to those in need. They say that in giving we receive. No truer words said. It would humble you greatly. I am thankful for my home and am blessed to have it. Many do not.

For everyone who came out and volunteered...thanks so much!!! And to those that allowed us to serve you....thank you for the opportunity and thank you for your courage in talking to strangers and taking the food and drinks we offered. Just a lil game planning here.... we at HydrateSanDiego are planning to do a BBQ cookout for all at Mission Beach on the first Saturday of June or July. This, of course, is depending on the donations that come in. So if you are interested in volunteering your time or donating some grub for this please let me (Ronnie Velez) know. If you want to join and sponsor your own group please feel free to come. It would be amazing if we could get a huge turnout! Thanks y'all!! God bless and peace be with y'all!

A 1994 study found that single mothers living in homeless shelters had an amazing amount of determination, a sense of personal pride, and an ability to confront their problems directly. Many of the single mothers interviewed exhibited a strong commitment to the welfare of their children, had strong moral values that acted as a guide in decision making, and many had deep religious convictions that provided them with a sense of purpose and meaning. Despite being homeless many of these single mothers maintained a commitment to helping others in need. Many also overcame what seemed to be insurmountable odds to keep their children with them rather than have them placed within the state foster care system, despite harsh living conditions
