Abba Father Institute

Abba Father Institute Abba Father Institute, 501c(3), is an independent, non-profit Catholic apostolate. Our mission is to make God known to the world as the most loving Father.

Whether we admit it or not, we all carry wounds. We all are wounded people, whether physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. Very often we hide these wounds deep inside and hope we can forget about them. But the truth is, these wounds can still have a negative impact on our lives and we don't know what to do to change this. What we need and sometimes unconsciously desire is for someone t

o look after us, to console us, and to take the pain away from us. There is one person who desires the same for each of us. He wants us to live in freedom, peace and true happiness. He wants us to be healed, to feel loved, safe and wanted. He is also the only one who can make it happen. This person is Our Heavenly Father. He loved us even before He created us. He sent His Son, Jesus, to redeem us from the slavery of sin and to restore our relationship with Him. He gives us His love, He can heal all our wounds and may transform and empower our lives. All we need to do is to trust Him and to surrender our lives to Him. Moreover, He predestined us to become His heirs in His Son, Jesus. He gave us His Spirit by whom we can cry: Abba, Father! And there is way more to discover in eternity, as we read in the Gospel: ''We are God’s children now - what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when He is revealed, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. (1John 3:2)

Over the years, at times when the path ahead felt unclear and the wait seemed too long, something unexpected often gave us strength:
The testimonies of others.

Hearing how God had acted in someone else’s life, often in quiet and surprising ways, would bring hope, restore perspective, and help us trust with deeper conviction.

We experienced this not only through people around us, but also through the stories of Saint Joseph, patron of workers.
The testimonies of his intercession led us to a deeper and more trusting prayer.

If he has helped so many before, why wouldn’t he help us?
After all, God entrusted him with the mission to provide for His Son and His Mother — and we believe that this mission continues, as he intercedes for all who turn to him in trust.

And God never disappointed us.
St. Joseph has helped not once, but many, many times.

As we are building The Vineyard Platform, we would love to begin collecting these kinds of testimonies — stories of how God has acted in your work, your job search, or your professional life.

Your story may be exactly what someone else needs to find hope in their own season.

If you feel comfortable, you’re welcome to share in the comments below.

You can also message us privately if you prefer.
We hope to share these stories (with permission) to encourage others who may be walking through a similar season.

We are starting a new initiative called The Vineyard Platform - a community for Catholic professionals.

The project is designed for those navigating career transitions, and for those who are stable in their work but want to deepen their understanding of their mission - how God is present in their professional lives and how He calls them to use and multiply their gifts so their work bears fruit in their lives and the lives of others.

Our hope is to create a place where Catholic professionals can:

• support one another during job transitions
• grow in their understanding of faith and work
• build meaningful Catholic professional relationships

If this resonates with you, or with someone you know, you can learn more here:

Please feel free to share this with Catholic professionals who may be navigating a job transition or who might benefit from such a community.
