It's with great sadness I have to report that our good friend Tammy Aburto-Pratt lost her battle with cancer and passed this morning. She will be greatly missed.

As we go into Giving Tuesday I'd like to humbly suggest donating to our Go Fund me for storage rent! We're again down to our last $65 after paying the December rent, so are facing loosing our storage unit with our props, costumes and sets. All donations are 100% tax deductible!

Hey Summer Funner Friends and Family,
So it looks like we will not be able to do a program again this summer. Between masking and distance restrictions I don't really see how we can do a play with singing and dancing on a small stage! That being said we have exhausted our financial resources (i.e. we're broke!) We thought we had an option for storage but that has fallen through. We just used the last in the checking account to pay for May storage and keeping the domain name. We have had to give up our Website hosting.
If anyone can help with donations for storage, or have an alternative to our current $155/month storage unit, it would be greatly appreciated! Please keep this ministry in your thoughts and prayers as we work through this difficult time!

We're hosting a Fun(d)raiser with Painting with a Twist in R.B. Purchase a painting kit from them and a portion of the proceeds goes to Summer Funner! This will run through March!

Look at their huge selection of At Home kits and click on Summer Funner when checking out! It's that easy, gives us something fun and different to do, and helps Summer Funner stay afloat during these hard times!

Happy New Year! And hope you are all staying well and safe!

I'm reaching out once more for your help. We are down to our last months rent in the checking account. While we're hopeful we'll be able to have a program this summer that leaves us several months short of rent for the storage unit!

So as Barbara would say, Here's the deal:
1. We urgently need donations so keep our storage unit
2. If anyone has an empty space we could store our costumes, supplies, sets and props, that would be amazingly awesome
3. Please share with everyone and anyone you can think of that may be able to help us.

Hi All!
Just an update, we were blessed with a couple families stepping up to help defray the cost of the storage unit, and I thank them very much. We're still short of what we will need to keep going until next summer so it's not too late to make a tax deductible donation before the end of the year! Also please feel free to reach out to folks you know that might not see this announcement, we need all the help we can get!

Hi Summer Funner friends and families! Hope this finds you all well and safe. As you know we weren't able to do a show this year, and now because of that we're having a problem. We usually are able to earn enough money from the production and donations to cover the cost of our rental unit for our props and costumes. This year that didn't happen and we're in danger of losing our storage unit. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we will not be able to have a Summer Funner play this year. Please stay tuned for 2021 when we plan to present "2x2x2" The story of Noah and his ark!
Also if you can please consider sending us a donation to offset the cost of our storage unit. We don't have a lot of expenses when we're not doing a production but this is our constant out go and we would really appreciate the help!
