Blindspot Collective develops artistic programming to illuminate voices, communities, and stories in the blindspot of our society. Founded in 2016, Blindspot Collective is a creative venture serving artistic and social needs in San Diego County. As a performing arts nonprofit, Blindspot aims to spark dialogue between diverse theatre artists and audiences by developing new work, addressing new audi
ences, and encouraging new perspective. The Collective is devoted to voices, communities, and practices that exist in our culture’s margins. To accomplish these goals, Blindspot develops, produces, and promotes new work by diverse, emerging artists that engage young or new audiences, and implements dynamic education programs exploring human experience, social justice, and creative expression in collaboration with undervalued communities.
