After over a year of bargaining, we’ve reached a historic Tentative Agreement (TA) on our first USD Non-Tenure Track (NTT) faculty union contract. Now it’s time to make it official.

History made! 📣 After tireless advocacy, a two-day Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) Strike, and around-the-clock bargaining, our elected Bargaining Action Team (BAT) has secured a landmark Tentative Agreement (TA) on our very first union contract non-tenure track (NTT) faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences! 🎉

This deal raises the bar not just for us, but for all NTT faculty members at USD and across Southern California. It’s proof of what’s possible when we stay organized and stand strong. 💪🏼💪🏿💪🏽💪🏻💪🏾

Students, staff & faculty unite! One struggle, one fight! We didn't just chant this powerful expression of solidarity, we lived it - on the picket line and through our lively and creative midday rally. Through our two-day ULP strike, we've shown USD that we're not afraid. We won't be disrespected and we won't allow them to break the law. We've set the tone for not just our first contract negotiation but also for the contracts to follow and the future union members who will pick up our mantle.

Nearly 200 Non-Tenure Track (NTT) faculty in USD’s College of Arts and Sciences walked off the job to protest USD's disrespect and union-busting tactics.
