As GYLS 2026 came to a close, we celebrated a week filled with growth, connection, courage, and transformation.✨

Participants arrived from different countries, communities, and backgrounds, each bringing their own unique story. Over the course of summit, they built friendships, embraced challenges, discovered new strengths, and became part of a global community of young leaders committed to creating positive change.

While the event may have ended, the lessons learned, relationships formed, and impact created will continue long after participants return home.

To our participants, families, volunteers, alumni, ambassadors, and supporters—thank you for making GYLS 2026 such a meaningful experience.

And remember: leadership is not about what you achieve for yourself, but what you inspire in others.

💥⭐ Breakthroughs create leaders.

Over the past two days at GYLS 2026, participants have challenged themselves to step beyond their comfort zones, explore new possibilities, and discover the power that comes from taking action.

Through transformational experiences, team challenges, meaningful conversations, and leadership exercises, these young leaders have begun uncovering the beliefs, strengths, and values that will help shape their future. They have explored what it means to lead themselves first, recognizing that personal leadership begins with the choices we make every day.

We've witnessed incredible courage, vulnerability, and growth as participants supported one another, embraced new challenges, and stepped into opportunities to lead. From breakthrough moments and powerful team experiences to board breaks and leadership exercises, they are learning that leadership is not about position, it's about impact.

Meanwhile, our GYLS Alumni participants took their leadership learning outdoors through a ropes course experience focused on trust, communication, teamwork, and resilience. As they encouraged one another through new challenges, they strengthened their leadership skills while creating lasting memories and having plenty of fun!

The energy, determination, and commitment we've seen so far have been truly inspiring!

Welcome to GYLS 2026! 🌎✨

This week, young leaders from around the world arrived on campus, checked into their new homes for the week, met fellow participants, and began building connections that will last far beyond these next few days.

From registration and team activities to the kickoff celebration, the journey is officially underway. We are excited to watch these incredible young people step into their leadership potential and discover the impact they can make in their communities and beyond. More to come!💫
