Today, Winds of Africa Foundation was honored to join Highridge School in celebrating Closing Day 2026, a vibrant occasion filled with sports, teamwork, achievement, and the joyful spirit of childhood.
The activities on the field demonstrated that education is about more than academic success. Through sports and play, children develop confidence, discipline, leadership, resilience, and teamwork, essential qualities for future success.
Our collaboration with Highridge School reflects a shared commitment to nurturing well-rounded young people and creating opportunities for every child to thrive. We extend our sincere gratitude to the teachers, parents, supporters, and well-wishers whose dedication continues to make a lasting impact in the lives of these students.

This week, Highridge School truly showcased the spirit of care, leadership, and community during their inspiring Health Week 🩺✨. It was wonderful to see students confidently acting as doctors and nurses, warmly engaging with parents and visitors while promoting health awareness in such a creative and educational way 👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️💙.
Programs like these go beyond classroom learning, they nurture compassion, responsibility, confidence, and teamwork among young future leaders 🌍📚. Winds of Africa Foundation was privileged to host our Directors, Tony and Audra, on a strategic visit to Step by Step Learning Center. During their time at the school, they met with the Center’s Director and engaged directly with students,strengthening relationships and gaining firsthand insight into program progress and priorities. 📚✨

This visit underscores our shared commitment to accountable partnership, educational access, and measurable student outcomes. For Step by Step, it affirms sustained support that extends beyond funding to include strategic collaboration and long-term investment. For Winds of Africa, it reinforces our model of community-centered engagement, grounded in listening, transparency, and impact. 🤝🌍

Winds of Africa Foundation recently hosted its Directors, Audra and Tony, on a field visit to Faraja Young Women Development Organization 🤝 to engage with a new women’s group identified for potential support under the Foundation’s 2026 programs 🌱.
The visit formed part of the Foundation’s due diligence process, focusing on community needs, group readiness, and alignment with women’s economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods 📊. Direct engagement with beneficiaries and local partners ensures that future support is well-targeted, accountable, and impact-driven.

From Form One to Form Six, and now through four years of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Esther Lekumo’s journey has been one of resilience, determination, and transformation. What began as a dream in a young maasai girl’s heart has grown into a reality shaped by consistent support, belief, and love.

This achievement is not Esther’s alone.
It belongs to every donor who gave,
every supporter who believed,
every well-wisher who stood with us, even when the journey was long.
