A Humble Request for Help

Today we are sharing this with a heavy heart.

A dear family’s father, a 70-year-old grandfather, came to the United States hoping to spend precious time with his children and grandchildren. Instead, he is now fighting for his life in the ICU after a severe kidney infection rapidly progressed to acute kidney injury and spread to his bloodstream.

No family is ever prepared for a crisis like this. The emotional pain is overwhelming, and the mounting medical expenses only add to their burden.

If you are able, please consider making a donation—no amount is too small. And if you’re unable to give, simply sharing this fundraiser could help it reach someone who can.

Every act of kindness, every prayer, every share makes a difference.

🇺🇸 Join SAIKAT at the Rancho Bernardo Independence Day Parade! 🇺🇸

Come celebrate Independence Day with SAIKAT as we proudly participate in the Rancho Bernardo 4th of July Parade!

📍 Check-in Location: Sapphire Indian Cuisine, 16785 Bernardo Center Dr.
🕝 Please arrive by: 2:30 PM (We'll line up at 3:00 PM.)
🎉 Parade starts: 3:30 PM

Important reminders for all participants: ✅ Arrive by 2:30 PM as nearby roads will close after 3:00 PM.
✅ Park personal vehicles at CVS or Vons (not in the parade queue area).
✅ Stay with the group and keep moving throughout the parade.
✅ If you're handing out treats or giveaways, please hand them directly to spectators—please do not throw items.
✅ It's expected to be warm, so wear comfortable clothing, sunscreen, and stay hydrated. Water will be available at the check-in booth.

We would especially love to see our young members join us! Parents, if possible, please encourage your children to participate—it’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our community, make memories, and experience the spirit of Independence Day together.
