Meet Adrienne! Adrienne is one of the Committee Chairs behind the 2nd annual Tee it Up for T1D Golf Tournament in San Diego and was the driver behind launching our inaugural tournament last year!

"I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 9 years old. Since then, every round of golf, competition and milestone has happened alongside the constant demands of managing T1D. I played Division I college golf and remain a competitive scratch golfer today. Chairing this tournament allows me to bring together two of the biggest parts of my life: the game I love and a cause that is deeply personal to me."

🏛️💙 We are excited to announce the Breakthrough T1D 2027 Children's Congress!

Every two years, more that 160 youth with T1D, between the ages of 4-17 gather in Washington, D.C. to meet with some of the top decision-makers in the U.S. Government. They get the chance to share their stories about life with T1D and advocate for critical Federal support.

This Walk Wednesday, we're excited to feature Aurora's Juice Box Crew! 🎉

Aurora's Juice Box Crew started walking in 2023, and we believe it's their third year joining the San Diego Walk. The team walks for their warrior princess and fellow T1D, Aurora, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on December 4, 2022, at just 4 years old.
