Hi all,

Just a reminder that this Saturday (May 14th) is the second Saturday of the month -- our regularly scheduled garden work time starting at 9 am.

We're still in pretty good shape but there are a few weedy sections to clean up and the orchard could use a deep watering. Please come help for an hour or so if you're able and free.

What a sweet tip!

FYI - Remember the bees!🐝🐝🐝

We are headed into summer after an extremely dry fall/winter. We are at 5.75" of rain for this season. Normal for this area by now is 19.39". We are in extreme drought conditions. This is disastrous for all wildlife and for bees.

Bees will take their nutrients from anything which has sugar and moisture. Feeding them watermelon when conditions are tough is a good idea because it’s got plenty of fructose and moisture!
