Friends of Library Canyon - Serra Mesa Help protect and restore the natural habitat of Library Canyon and Vernal Pools

Library Canyon starts behind the Serra Mesa - Kearny Mesa Library and connects to Serra Mesa Park at the Serra Mesa Recreation Center. It has a creek that drains the east end of Montgomery Field, continues under the ball fields and condos and empties into Ruffin Canyon Open Space, which leads to the San Diego River. It has a trail, greatly improved on March 26, 2011 by volunteers from The Rock Church.

We hope you can join us for the next meeting of the Friends of Ruffin Canyon on Monday, February 24, 630pm, Taft Middle School Library. Our Councilman, Scott Sherman will be there, and we will be discussing the Ruffin Canyon Trail planning.
