Founded in April 2011, we are a group formed to move San Diego Mesa College towards sustainability by reducing the use and sale of single-use plastics and bottled water on campus. We are a group of students who want to decrease the flow of plastic waste generated on campus, who reject corporate control of drinking water and who want accountability for the environmental damage foisted on society by the bottled water industry.
