Hello Facebook people! I have completed my second book and my first fiction novel and it is officially out now! It is a chapter book aimed at the 7-10 age group, loosely based on the Storm Girls ice hockey program from LVIC.

Read the first book in the new series “Slapshot Sisters”. The description is below:

Eight year old girl Emma Kimura just moved to Las Vegas with her family from Toronto, Canada. It's the beginning of the summer and she's lonely, homesick and bored. One day her dad signs her up for ice hockey with an all girls team called the Las Vegas Queens. Thanks to her new activity, she meets new friends, faces new challenges and learns about fighting through struggles. In this series, we follow the Queens as they navigate the world of youth hockey, great friends, mean boys and growing up playing a sport on the ice with 110 degree weather outside.

We have received tickets to the virtual screening of Back to the Outback – streaming December 3rd – December 5th.

Tired of being locked in a reptile house where humans gawk at them like they're monsters, a ragtag group of Australia's deadliest creatures plot a daring escape from their zoo to the Outback, a place where they'll fit in without being judged for their scales and fangs. Look at all those babies that are all teens now! It’s so great to see the old AI events. 😍🏀

Thanks to the Phoenix Suns, Mr. Winters and UCSD Rimac crew, the kids had a great time watching the scrimmage! GO #3, G0 #3! The little fans we brought along cheered their hearts out for San Diego's own Jared Dudley! Another great afternoon is in the books!
