***Update- Shorty is safe in a foster home. It turns out she is in heat, and not spayed, but we will be taking care of that as soon as she is safely out of heat. Thank you to everyone who responded. We are trying to get back to the over 100 people who messaged us or commented. Our tiny volunteer team will try to get back to everyone. We appreciate all of your offers to help and we have bassets coming in constantly so please watch our page if you would like to foster or adopt!

Looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt for Shorty, a 4 year old female basset. She's spayed, but the poor baby has been mostly an outdoor dog, so she needs house training and PATIENCE. She's very loving and gets along well with kids and other dogs. If you are interested in Shorty please MESSAGE us with your email and we will send you an application. If anyone can take these beautiful girls, please let me know.

I know these are not bassets but I'm hoping someone will be able to take them anyway. These 2 girls need to be placed immediately. They do not have to go together. Their owner is going into hospice TODAY. They are both spayed, they don't along with cats. If you can give either of these girls a home please PM us right away.

UPDATE A foster-to-adopt home has been found for Herbert!

***Foster/Foster-to-adopt needed ASAP!

It turns out Herbert doesn't get along with cats, so the family who was going to adopt him can't keep him. We would prefer to place him in a home that wants to eventually adopt him, but if we can't find that a foster home will work. Herbert is 4 year old AKC registered, purebred basset hound. He is in great shape with no medical issues other than needing to be neutered, which we will be doing. If you are interested in Herbert PLEASE MESSAGE US. Thank you!
