From the hundreds of affordable homes we built and acquired, the thousands of meals distributed to residents, the dozens of volunteers who gave their time and energy to support work, and so much more, our 2025 Annual Report showcases CHW's impact on peoples' lives and local communities. We continue to expand our reach, and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished.

🍃 Our Tree of Opportunity continues to grow—13 leaves have now been added!

A huge thank you to the 13 generous supporters who have already made a gift to help students and families thrive through Community HousingWorks' Next Generation Success programs. Every leaf on our tree represents an investment in brighter futures.

Our Afterschool Program kicks off the school year on Monday! We're excited to provide academic support, hands-on STEM learning, arts enrichment, and a safe place to grow and succeed for children in our communities.

Our goal is to inspire 40 supporters this summer, and we're just 27 leaves away from reaching it! Every gift, no matter the size, adds a symbolic leaf to our Tree of Opportunity and helps make these life-changing programs possible.

Silvia’s generosity, advocacy, leadership, and commitment to service have made a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

👏 Malillany Gonzalez — Outstanding Student Volunteer Award
A CHW resident and dedicated volunteer, Malillany has contributed more than 52 hours of service since October 2024, supporting students through after-school programming, STEM activities, sports, arts and crafts, and much more. Her kindness, mentorship, and dedication make her an incredible role model for the young people and families in our communities.

These nominations are a wonderful reflection of the leadership, compassion, and commitment to service that Alexis, Silvia, and Malillany bring to everything they do. We’re so grateful to have them represent Community HousingWorks and are incredibly proud of their impact.

This week marks the final stretch of our Next Generation Success campaign.

Imagine a child in one of our communities. They start in our Afterschool Program building their confidence and academic skills. Years later, they are in a Career Pathways workshop practicing interviews and picturing a future. And when the time comes, they apply for our Sue Reynolds Valor Scholarship and join a community that is rooting for them at every step of the way.
