We had the honor yesterday to receive Dr Salim Sayegh and his wife at Saint Ephrem Catholic Maronite Church in El Cajon California in the presence of the Father Toufic Nasr, President Choukri El Maasery, local representatives of the Lebanese Forces headed by Camila Chammas and parishioners.
Dr Sayegh shared with us the latest situation in Lebanon and emphasized on our unity and support of the current government. He also highlighted his optimism for the upcoming future in Lebanon and the region.

A memorial mass for President Bashir Gemayel and Lebanese Resistance martyrs was held at Saint Ephrem Maronite Church in El Cajon California on 9/8/24 at 12:30 pm. The mass was jointly offered by the San Diego Kataeb Chapter and the Lebanese Forces. After the mass the parishioners gathered in the church hall for refreshments, meet and greets. Joseph Sfeir, Kataeb chapter president, thanked the attendees and emphasized the need for unity between all opposition parties to resurrect the Lebanese Front and face off the take over of Lebanon by Iran through their proxy militia Hizbollah, and concluded by thanking the participation of the Kataeb Los Angeles chapter headed by its president Antoinette Aboud and the executive board.

This unfortunate event is a wake up call for the nation to rise and push back on all kind of extreme rhetoric emerging from both right and left leaderships contributing to this violence.
Attempting to kill a political running candidate is an attempt to kill democracy.

أجرى رئيس حزب الكتائب اللبنانية النائب ⁧‫ ّل‬⁩ اتصالًا هاتفيًا برئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية الدكتور ⁧‫ ‬⁩ قدّم خلاله تعازي الكتائب بمقتل ⁧‫ ‬⁩ منسق حزب القوات في جبيل الذي قتل على يد مجرمين في ظروف ما زالت غامضة.
‏وأكد الجميّل في خلال الاتصال الوقوف إلى جانب عائلة الفقيد في مصابها الأليم وإلى جانب القوات في محنتها، وتم الاتفاق على استمرار التواصل والتنسيق لبلورة الخطوات اللاحقة.
