Something else to do next weekend...for those who are attending, but not showing. It's in Balboa Park, not too far from the Zoo.

The 17th Annual Hawaiian Plumeria Festival is Saturday & Sunday of Labor Day weekend, September 3-4, 10am - 4pm daily. FREE admission! A lot of ALOHA happening here:
- Flower Show: 100s of blooms of different colors and fragrances on display
- Plant Sale: 20 vendors with plants from small to large; all different colors; some as low as $10! (And they're water-wise plants)
- Live entertainment with Hawaiian dancers and musicians
- Plumeria Store: 100s of items for enthusiasts, like fertilizer, shirts, hats, and more
- Plumeria Gifts: Plumeria-related jewelry, paintings, tote bags/purses/aprons, ribbon leis and more
- For the kids: Face painting and a make-and-take table to learn how to make leis and other crafts for a small fee to cover costs
- Sunday afternoon raffle of plants donated by the vendors
- Ohana Cafe will be selling Hawaiian food and shaved ice

We're happy to hold your plants for you until 3pm while you enjoy Balboa Park. Plus, our plant runners will be happy to take plants to the loading zone and wait with your plants while you get your car.
