Bright Horizon Academy We have over 200 students, 15 teachers, numerous TAs, and our countless community of volunteers. BHA is WASC accredited until 2024.

Bright Horizon Academy (Islamic School of San Diego) is a MAS institution which has two campuses located in Clairemont (Elementary) and Allied Gardens (Middle/High School). Our students compete in a variety of sports such as flag football, basketball and TaeKwonDo to name a few. In addition BHA competes in many extracurricular activities such as Robotics, Botball and the Greater San Diego Science

Gathering in community reminded us that healing is found in faith, reflection, and supporting one another through difficult times. We are grateful to Sheikh Omar Suleiman for his comforting words, sincere presence, and heartfelt reminders. May Allah reward him abundantly.

Yesterday, Bright Horizon Academy had the honor of welcoming Imam Omar Suleiman for a special gathering with our students, parents, and staff.

During this time of grief and healing, Imam Omar Suleiman offered heartfelt condolences, words of comfort, and reminders rooted in patience, tawakkul, and hope. His presence brought encouragement and reflection to our community as we continue navigating this difficult journey together.

We are deeply grateful for his time, compassion, and sincere support of the BHA family.

May Allah reward him abundantly, grant mercy to our martyrs, bring comfort to their loved ones, and continue to unite our community in faith, resilience, and healing. Ameen.

🧸🍦 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped bring smiles and comfort to our students.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Renee, Marcella, and Nathan for taking the time to join us and for bringing Comfort Cubs to our children. Your kindness, compassion, and support meant so much to our school community and brought joy and comfort to many little hearts.
A special thank you to Br. Ahmad for coordinating with us and for treating all grade levels to ice cream, just as we promised our students. Your generosity helped make the day even more memorable.
We would also like to thank Sarah Abdin for preparing thoughtful goodie bags for our students and helping spread happiness and excitement throughout the school.

🌟 Bright Horizon Academy celebrated our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade Awards Ceremony! 🌟
This year was especially meaningful as we discovered the bravery, strength, and resilience of our incredible students. Through challenges and triumphs, they showed us what it truly means to be superheroes.
We were delighted to welcome a special guest, Gandalf the Wizard, to join in celebrating the achievements of our young stars.

🌟 TK Awards Ceremony 2026 🌟

What a beautiful day celebrating our amazing TK students! We are so proud of all the growth, hard work, kindness, and determination they have shown throughout the year. Each child has their own special talents and accomplishments, and today we were honored to recognize them.

This week, we proudly celebrated our Upper Campus students and recognized their academic achievements, outstanding citizenship, spelling bee accomplishments, and dedication to Qur’an memorization at our end-of-year award ceremony🏅We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and the growth they have shown throughout the year.
