Elevated! San Diego's Poetry Connection Elevated! is San Diego's largest and longest running spoken word/poetry open mic. inspired. This movement called Elevated!

We feature national and internationally renown poets, as well as local home grown talent. Whether you are a seasoned poet, the first time sharing your poem or you're simply a fan of the art, you'll leave Elevated! It is the design of Collective Purpose to present our audience with an exceptional event that will serve as an outlet for creative expression. will challenge the artists and change our community.

About the Feature:
Jane Yevgenia Muschenetz is a Ukrainian-born, Russian-speaking, Jewish refugee who fled the Soviet regime as a child. Recognized for excellence in Poetry Performance by the County of San Diego, Jane is a 2023 City of Encinitas Exhibiting Artist and winner of the 2022 Good Life Review Poetry Prize. Her debut poetry collection, All the Bad Girls Wear Russian Accents (Kelsay Books, 2023), is a Readers’ Favorite 5 Star Book and a finalist for the Jacar Press Chapbook Prize.
