Candidates With A Contract

Candidates With A Contract It's a "People's Party" that prioritizes anti-corruption over partisan politics. Our moveme The contract has been signed by 26 U.S. House and Senate candidates.

We are recruiting candidates from all over the country, and all over the political spectrum, to sign our anti-corruption contract and include it in their platform. OUR PLAN TO FIX GOVERNMENT
We are recruiting candidates from all over the country, and all over the political spectrum, to sign our anti-corruption contract and include it in their platform. Our movement is based on the idea that electe

d officials are supposed to be public servants, not aristocrats. The contract commits them to overturn Citizens United and end partisan gerrymandering. They'll introduce legislation requiring members of Congress to work 40 hours/week with just 4 weeks of vacation per year, and lock in congressional salaries at their current percentage of the national median income (~330%). We create a page for each signer on our website where we introduce them, explain their positions on policy issues, and link to their campaign's website, social media, and donation pages. Take a look at our contract and contact us to get involved. Click here to find U.S. House and Senate candidates in your district/state, and ask them to join our movement.

The Candidates With a Contract organization is inactive. Because I, Kelley Lane, previously shared many posts from Smart Elections, an organization I believed in & gave many hours of my time to for several years, I must make this post now. Smart Elections, in coordination with a new group formed just after the 2024 election called Election Truth Alliance, spread unfounded claims of election fraud, & raised quite a bit of $ off of these unfounded claims. Unfortunately very few election activists & experts spoke up about these unfounded claims. The only logical explanation for this is confirmation bias (they’re Democrats.) It is hypocritical to call out unfounded claims of election fraud when the other side is doing it & then ignore or even promote this when it’s your own team participating in it. I have objected strongly to all of this in meetings & online where I provided the evidence that the “drop offs” pattern had a logical explanation: Independent split-ticket voting! And the new 2025 Gallup polling makes this even more clear! I wrote the Substack post (link below) in Jan 2025, before I found the study by Arizona State University’s Center for an Independent & Sustainable Democracy (also linked below)

I want to thank Duncan Buell, Matt Blaze, Charles Stewart & Kevin Skoglund for speaking out against the unfounded theories of election fraud that have spread like wildfire. Unfortunately the few that spoke out was not enough to stop the spread of misinformation.
I am personally dedicated to the cause of election security & integrity & began hosting weekly meetings. We are a small but growing group.
