The AMA is pleased to announce that we are receiving FRIA (FAA Recognized Identification Area) approvals for our clubs! Please keep in mind that this is a slow process. We anticipate more FRIA approvals will be processed over the next days, weeks, and months.

If your club has not submitted their FRIA request to the AMA, it's not too late. RID (Remote Identification) compliance does not begin until September 16th.

All the big stuff was done earlier today. (This photo is from earlier) We just have some light sweeping and a final pass with the blowers tomorrow. The elements were tough on the field of course. The surface is flaking up a lot, and the bobcat found some soft spots, leaving some potholes that will need filling. But we have a field again! A big thanks to the guys who came out to help, and those that donated to pay for the bobcat!

The access road has finally been cleared! Not our little fork-in-the-road shortcut, but we have access, at last! A few guys have already started some clearing on the runway soon after the road opened, and today was a bigger push, but it's really bad so progress is hard fought and slow. A few guys toughed it out all day today, others came for a while and did what they could. It's all appreciated. So there's a little runway open now. We will work it when we can, and schedule a big cleanup day asap.
