✨ All residents and those who love Hillcrest are invited to the Hillcrest Town Council’s next monthly community meeting, this Tuesday, May 14 at 6:30 pm!

Along with updates from elected officials, community partners, and neighborhood happenings, we will hear a presentation from focused on how we can make the streets of Hillcrest safer for all users.

Whether this is your first time considering attending an HTC meeting, or if you’ve been around for years, we’d love to see you!

💻 The meeting will be held in person at 1469 University Avenue (in between and Fruitcraft) or can be accessed via Zoom!

San Diego Pride’s Power Summit is a day-long conference for people committed to LGBTQ justice hoping to learn grassroots organizing skills, build community connections, and get directly engaged in the movement of intersectional social justice. Training will include field organizing, storytelling, power mapping, campaign development, and more! All skill levels are welcome to attend.

Please join the Uptown community and for another town hall to learn more about and provide your input on the upcoming Plan Hillcrest Uptown Community Plan Update.
We thank our Hillcrest Business Association, Hillcrest Town Council Hillcrest All Inclusive Kiwanis, and HillcrestSanDiego for helping make this community event happen!

When: Wednesday April 10:, 6-8 pm
Where: The San Diego LGBT Community Center (3909 Centre St)

Representatives from the city planning department will present on the latest Plan Hillcrest draft, and community members will be invited to participate in table discussions focusing on various aspects of the draft, including housing, mobility, public spaces, historic district and LGBTQ+ cultural and entertainment district. Community feedback will be presented to the city following the event.
