Together, we are spending the day learning, networking, growing as leaders, and inspiring one another to advance health equity in the communities we serve. ☀️ What a fantastic day at the beach/bay! 🏖️💙 This was our 2nd Annual SDNAHN Family Beach Day!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing nurses, nursing students, families, kids, and even our furry friends 🐶 who joined us for our Summer Family Beach Picnic!

From networking and laughter to kayaking, delicious potluck dishes, and making new memories, it was such a wonderful day spent together. Your smiles, energy, and community spirit made this event truly special.

We loved seeing everyone connect and celebrate the incredible NAHN San Diego family. ❤️

It was an incredible honor for the San Diego Chapter of NAHN (SDNAHN) to welcome Dr. Grace Grau, President of NAHN, for her first official chapter visit in her new leadership role!

Our current President Violet Rubio and Incoming President Dulce Pluma, along with our general and board members, were proud to host this historic occasion. We are honored that San Diego was your very first stop, and we celebrate your vision, your leadership, and the exciting future ahead.

Dr. Grau reminded us that leadership is about having the key to open new doors, being impactful, mindful leaders who are intentional about the service we give to our organization, the health of our communities, and the advancement of Hispanic nurses through higher education and professional growth. Your message inspired us all, especially following NAHN 51st conference in Denver, your swearing in and took office.

We are energized for the work ahead under your leadership. SDNAHN is always ready to grow, lead, and improve the lives of those we serve! with President-Elect Dulce Pluma preparing to lead our chapter, our future is brighter than ever with you two leading the way! 💪
