NESA wants you!
The National Eagle Scout Association established the NESA Law Enforcement affinity group open to those who are or have been sworn law enforcement professionals and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
The NESA Law Enforcement affinity group looks to, among other things, provide mentoring opportunities, career insight, support local NESA chapters, and work with Law Enforcement Exploring.
Eagle Scout Mike Prout, former Assistant Director, US Marshals Service, and a Vice Chairman of the National Law Enforcement Exploring Committee stated, "Scouting and Law Enforcement Exploring represent the highest of standards and values, which mirror those needed in law enforcement worldwide.” “As an Eagle Scout, Integrity remains embedded in every act I take.”
For those interested in becoming a NESA Law Enforcement affinity member do the following:
1) Make sure you are a current paid member of NESA, not sure go to: www.NESA.org
2) Once a member go to: http://www.nesa.org/contact_us.html let NESA know that you want to join the NESA Law Enforcement affinity group.
3) Provide NESA with your Eagle Board of Review date. Your date that NESA membership expires. Your current or former Department and rank. Your current mailing address and we will send you the NESA Law Enforcement lapel pin.
