For 50 years, Casa Hogar La Gloria has worked to provide a safe, stable, and loving home for vulnerable children in Tijuana.
What many people may not realize is that caring for children today involves far more than simply opening your doors. Maintaining registration and compliance with DIF — Mexico’s child welfare oversight agency — requires ongoing inspections, staff training, documentation, safety standards, healthcare protocols, facility maintenance, and constant administrative work.
These standards exist to protect children, and many homes struggle to meet or maintain them.
We are deeply grateful that, through the dedication of our staff, leadership, volunteers, and supporters on both sides of the border, Casa Hogar continues this important work year after year.

Por 50 años, Casa Hogar La Gloria ha trabajado para brindar un hogar seguro, estable y lleno de amor para niños vulnerables en Tijuana.
Lo que muchas personas no ven es que hoy en día cuidar niños implica mucho más que simplemente abrir las puertas. Mantener el registro y cumplimiento ante DIF requiere inspecciones constantes, capacitación del personal, documentación, estándares de seguridad, protocolos de salud, mantenimiento de las instalaciones y un enorme trabajo administrativo continuo.
Estas normas existen para proteger a los niños, y muchas instituciones enfrentan grandes dificultades para poder cumplirlas y mantenerlas.
Estamos profundamente agradecidos porque, gracias a la dedicación de nuestro personal, directivos, voluntarios y benefactores de ambos lados de la frontera, Casa Hogar continúa esta importante labor año tras año.
