International Health Collective A 501(c)(3) based out of UCSD, IHC strives to alleviate disparities in the San Diego–Tijuana region

The International Health Collective was founded by two undergraduates at the University of California, San Diego in 2013. It has since grown from a small student organization to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. IHC is still entirely run and operated by students and alumni, with members from various universities in addition to UCSD including SDSU, CSU San Marcos, Point Loma Nazarene University, a

nd the local community colleges. The pioneering members of the International Health Collective sought to create an organization which promotes "humanism in medicine." To the members of IHC, this refers to a holistic approach to health and medicine, enlisting an interdisciplinary team to tackle big issues and create lasting, sustainable change. IHC strives to embody these values in its work and apply solutions that are community-based and sustainable.

International Health Collective invites medical professionals, healthcare leaders, and advocates to our Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser at the Kettner Exchange on Wednesday, May 27th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, music, networking, and philanthropy as we raise funds to support healthcare initiatives for underserved communities in Tijuana, Mexicali, San Juanico, and our local San Diego communities. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. All proceeds support IHC’s mission of improving healthcare access. International Health Collective is hosting a Yogurt World Social and Fundraiser on October 2nd from 6:00 -8:00 PM! Stop by to meet active members of IHC and ask any questions about recruitment and our organization! This social is for prospective and active members, and if you’re an active member, this will count towards your social point.
All members are required to fulfill their one social point per quarter, so this a great opportunity to earn a social point while supporting IHC and meeting prospective members! If you cannot attend Thursdays Yogurt World Social, you can stop by anytime and showcase the flyer for 10% off on your Yogurt World purchase as 20% of proceeds are donated to IHC.
