Her Voice is an event for poets and authors to express themselves through spoken word. Each Her Voice gives a platform to different female writers from all different backgrounds to share their words with others.

Love & War creates a space for the complexities of being a woman of color. Using movement, poetry and music, Keomi welcomes the vulnerability love and war brings to the surface.

Tonight, She Is Soul presents HER VOICE, a platform for poets, authors, dancers, and creatives alike to express themselves and share their story through performing arts.

We are extremely blessed and excited to bring you one on San Diego's own - Keomi Tarver (abunDANCE - Keomi Tarver) with her beautiful work of art, "Love & War."

Doors Open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8:00pm, there will be no entry after 8:15pm. This experience is one you do not want to miss!

There will be wine and music to follow as well as an opportunity to meet the performers.

For those who are new to our page we welcome you with love and light and looking forward to engaging with you.

She Is Soul is a non-profit organization led by women of color and based out of San Diego, California. She Is Soul sets out to create a platform and space for women to come together to embrace, empower, and enlighten one another.

As San Diego evolves, She Is Soul aims to be a cornerstone for positive interaction within and amongst the community.

She Is Soul celebrates women through all successes and struggles while encouraging continuous growth in their understanding of womanhood through performing arts, discussion, and mentorship.

Wakeup Wednesday is a guided conversation to educate, bring awareness, and enlighten those in attendance. We use empirical as well as opinion based resources to have an open and real conversation about statistics, current issues, gender roles, and taboo topics. Wake-up Wednesday is open to all.
