The Duval County Historical Commission members recently participated in the annual Posada held at St Francis de Paula Church.
Members in attendance were Ronnie and Lupe Nava, Elma Saenz, Rosie Lopez, Tre Contreras, Maria Garza and Pam Garcia.

The Duval County Historical Commission members recently attended a Texas Tropical Trails Tour in Benavides.
Highlights included a visit to the Last Patrol Ranch, the Barton- Caballero Hacienda, Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, and the Anita Barton House.
Congratulations to the City of Benavides for hosting a successful event!
