“Angel Rampersad was not born in the United States of America. But Angel Rampersad was willing to die for the United States of America. That's how strongly she felt about America, not just the place, but the idea of what this country could be.”
🖤 Today, we honor the memory and legacy of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Angel Sarah Rampersad.
Sergeant Rampersad tragically lost her life while serving overseas at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.
A dedicated leader who spent seven years specializing in military communications, she was posthumously promoted to Staff Sergeant for her exceptional service.
As an organization dedicated to supporting women in the military, we grieve this profound loss alongside her family her community, and her fellow soldiers.
Women in the military face unique paths, and today we remember the ultimate sacrifice Sgt. Rampersad made in service to her country.
Rest in peace, Staff Sergeant. 🇺🇸✨
Family and friends remember 28-year-old Sergeant Angel Rampersad, who was killed at an air base in Jordan and is being laid to rest this week.
