Holy smokes, the football season is almost here! Incredible talent returning on our team, so (hopefully) we could have a great season.

To kickoff the season, the FSU Alumni have put together an event for this Saturday to celebrate the upcoming start to our seasons. Below is the event info:

The SD Seminole Club is *so* excited to bring you THE kick-off event of all kick-off events!!!

🍢 Saturday, August 23, 2025, they are hosting a COLLEGE RIVALRY KICK-OFF CO****LE TOURNAMENT!!!!

🍢 The event will be held at Weir Beer Brewery in Vista from 12-3pm.

🍢 Rivalry co****le will be played against the SD alumni chapters for FSU, Virginia, Alabama, UF, UCF, Clemson, and more!! 🎉 We are playing for bragging rights for the year!

🍢 $10 per person for beer and soft drinks, but admission is free 🙂 We will have a food truck available for purchase. If you would like to secure a wristband for beer, seltzer, and soft drinks (to be received the day of the event), please send $10 to the SD Noles Venmo account with your name & note with your college & team name to Venmo: @ San Diego-Seminoles

I just spoke with Social Tap (815 J Street, 92101), right beside Petco Park, and they said they’ll love to have our Club come and watch our gave versus Texas (1pm start) tomorrow. Our Women’s basketball team wanted to watch the game too and they’ll rep around 30 folks from their team. Social Tap said they’ll have us back in their Petco Park patio area (holds around 70); it has 5 TVs and isolated sound, so it sounds perfect for our group. The manager at that time will be Helena (pronounced Ha’lana).

Let’s have some fun and let’s go Tigers!!!

Our Clemson Women’s basketball team is playing in the San Diego classic tournament at the Viejas Arena. They’ll play Georgia on December 19th at 1pm and Hawaii on December 20th at 3:30pm.

Hey all. The Clemson Women’s Basketball team are playing here in San Diego. The San Diego Classic is the tournament and will be played at the Viejas Arena. Clemson plays Georgia at 1pm on December 19th and then will play Hawaii at 3:30pm on December 20th.

I swiped that quote from Savannah team’s X page. Should be pretty entertaining baseball match. I saw the Bananas in-person a couple years ago and their antics are pretty hilarious. Should be fun to check out. You can see their YouTube channel below.

The FSU Seminole Club has invited our Clemson Club to their annual Rivalry Kickoff event this upcoming Saturday (Aug. 10th). I’ll be there with my two young girls. You’re welcome to message this page, if you have any questions. Recommend bringing your own chairs and if anyone has a tailgate tent that would be awesome. I have a large Clemson flag that I’ll bring, but I don’t have much else.

Clemson vs Florida in the Super Regional at Clemson. It’s a double elimination format; the team that wins this matchup will head to Omaha for the College World Series! Florida’s head coach got his starting college coaching career at Clemson under Jack Leggitt (who’s back on our coaching staff). Pretty cool. Should be a great series!

Here’s the schedule for the Clemson Baseball Regional. We’re ranked #6 overall seed ( #1 in our regional); the #2 seed in our Regional, Vanderbilt, has been a powerhouse in college baseball these recent years, so it’s going to be a tough regional.
