San Diego the new San Diego City Council District map is out, make sure you check it out your district may have changed because our new "Strong Mayor" system required the City Council to go from 8 to 9 districts.

There's a new majority Latino district. Asian leaders fell short of their goal. And two sitting council members may be forced out of house and home.

Pride weekend and the Legacy Concert were just warm ups for the most exciting night of the month, our General Membership Meeting!!!!! We're going to take it to the floor this evening starting at 7pm at the San Diego LGBT Community Center were will go until the sun comes up or St Aaron "AHizz" Heier kicks us out of our room at 9pm. You know which ever comes first.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen are prepared to recommend repeal certification of “don’t ask, don’t tell” as early as Friday, defense officials confirmed with The Advocate late Thursday.
