The House of Türkiye proudly celebrates March 12, the day the İstiklâl Marşı was adopted as the Turkish National Anthem in 1921. Written by Mehmet Akif Ersoy during the Turkish War of Independence, its powerful words continue to inspire generations with a spirit of freedom, resilience, and national pride. 🇹🇷

Happy December 5th International Women’s Rights Day! 🇹🇷
91 years ago today, an important step was taken towards the modernization of the Turkish Republic under the leadership of Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the Turkish woman was given the right to choose and be elected. This historic step is one of the most powerful symbols of our Republic’s journey for equality and modernization. This right has made Turkiye one of the pioneering countries to recognize this freedom to women.
