📣 Coaching Scholarship Opportunity – CA South WSO

In partnership with USA Weightlifting, the California South WSO is now accepting applications for the 2026 Women’s & BIPOC Coach Education Scholarship Program.

We’re awarding 8 total scholarships:
🔹 4 Women’s scholarships
🔹 4 BIPOC scholarships

Each scholarship includes:
✔️ Full tuition for a Level 1 or Level 2 course
✔️ 1-year USAW membership (for new members)

📅 Applications open: Feb 1 – Mar 16
📅 Selection period: Mar 16 – Mar 31

Eligibility:
• U.S. citizen
• Age 16+
• Identify as female or BIPOC

Preference given to coaches working with underserved communities, newer coaches, and those showing impact through sport.

Help us keep a consistent, positive, and on-brand presence that supports the California South Weightlifting Stare Organization—our athletes, coaches, events, and community.

✅ 2–3 original posts per week
✅ Stories 2–4 days per week
✅ Light engagement (comments & DMs a few days per week)
✅ Schedule posts using an agreed-upon tool
💵 Stipend will be provided

Repot My 2nd meet. Split Split sn**ch 73kg was my PR. 95kg C&J was no lift. Total was 164kg whereas it was 151kg at the last meet, so I’m content with the result. Repost Late upload, but ended the year competing in my third weightlifting meet at the Vehement Barbell Fest hosted by back in November, just before Thanksgiving. Went 6/6, PRd for both my Sn**ch and Clean & Jerks, and increased my total. Olympic weightlifting is an entirely different beast of a sport, but I’m grateful to be improving and enjoying it all with , and big shout out to for coming all the way out to help me in the back!! .elite.athletics and shoutout to for the singlet fit!!

Repost My first ever National meet and I won 2nd place!!!!!! So thankful to my coaches and who have pushed me and never let me give up!!! Thank you to and who I idolized my entire journey at .. Most important my coach who took me on as her first ever athlete coached me, always pushed me to be better than yesterday, put up with me rolling on the floor and making faces at her but not once did she doubt what I was capable of!!! THANK YOU to everyone who supported me it’s appreciated ❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯💯
