As a global network of organizations working toward a world without incineration, our zero waste experts in Turkiye are showcasing proven zero waste strategies that reduce methane emissions, strengthen local economies, support waste picker livelihoods, and advance climate justice.

I gave, Samir Aģirbas, President of the Zero Waste Foundation, a very strict and true message about Zero Waste.
1. Use the only correct and peered definition: “Zero Waste: The conservation of all resources by means of responsible production, consumption, reuse, and recovery of products, packaging, and materials without burning and with no discharges to land, water, or air that threaten the environment or human health.”

I dislike anyone who suddenly says: "I hate plastic ...", "I will never use plastic again", "Plastic destroys our environment ....", "Plastic is dangerous ...". OK, you wise guy, try to live without plastic. It is with plastic that with the rats, we have to learn to live with it, improve it, take advantage of it, make it more efficiently, recycle it better, simplify the plastic mixtures, optimize the possibility of collection and recycling. It is not companies that throw it in NATURE, it is we humans who do it, we must show greater responsibility, we must sharpen and show that we really care about the earth.
