SET High School Our twenty-to-one student to teacher ratio maximizes the number of quality interactions in class and allows teachers to honor individual learning styles. I.e.

SET High is a globally enhanced, technology advanced learning environment with a project-based teaching approach that encourages students to solve real world problems. Mission Defined

Given the small school atmosphere that SET High has to offer, students and faculty are connected in a variety of ways. Daily participation in ROAR (advisory period) connects studen

ts with their advisory Teacher who guides them for four years.

SET High students explore authentic 21st century world issues, and collaboratively hypothesize and apply solutions. They experience the interconnectedness to their community and the world at large. The themes of the 21st century include: global awareness; financial, economic, business and entrepreneurial literacy; civic and health literacy. Specific skills include: learning, innovation, media, technology, life, and career. Understanding themselves and their connectedness to other cultures is the purpose of the SET High curriculum. Our rigorous and relevant academic content prepares students for college and beyond. SET High students experience global connections in the following ways:
Partnerships with local businesses
Local and global community service projects
Opportunities to experience real-world leadership roles in a business-like atmosphere. project development, management, fiscal/logistical oversight, marketing and presentation skills.

SET High identifies that a technology-enhanced learning environment is fundamental for the 21st Century student. SET High will prepare their students to contribute productively in diverse society by building a collaborative learning community with a(n):

At SET High, academics are only half the story. We combine strong coursework with student agency, real relationships, and real-world learning — because curiosity, resilience, and responsibility aren't things you can memorize, they're things you build. Our students leave here with more than a diploma. They leave with the judgment and self-awareness to navigate uncertainty, chase what matters to them, and show up for their communities.

This year, the spotlight is ours. New performing arts electives are hitting the schedule at SET High: SET the Stage for students who want to see and perform live theatre, Sketch Acting for the improvisers and sketch writers, and On SET filmmaking for anyone interested in the basics of filmmaking.

It's almost here. On Monday, our halls fill back up with the energy only SET High brings — new schedules, new electives, and a whole lot of "what are you most excited for this year?" energy. SET doesn't do generic first days. Ours come with passion projects already brewing and teachers who've been planning all summer to make this year count.
