We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Upway, a company that is leading the charge on certified pre-owned electric bikes!

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist, riding with your family, meeting up with friends, or checking "ride across the Coronado Bridge" off your bucket list, Bike the Bay is all about enjoying the journey at your own pace.

⏰ Ride starts at 7:00 AM
(50-mile riders begin at 6:30 AM, Bridge Only riders at 8:00 AM.)

Along the way, you'll take in beautiful views of San Diego Bay, ride through Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista, and National City, then celebrate at the finish with food, drinks, a beer garden, live entertainment, and an amazing community of riders.

Bike the Bay welcomes Class I and Class II e-bikes (maximum assisted speed of 20 mph), making it easier than ever to experience San Diego's most iconic ride—including the unforgettable trip across the Coronado Bridge.

To help keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all e-bike riders to ride at the casual pace of the event and share the road with fellow participants.

Please note:
✅ Class I & II e-bikes are welcome (max assisted speed of 20 mph)
❌ No other motorized devices will be allowed.

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or your e-bike helps you tackle longer distances, we'd love to have you join us!

If you have 10 or more riders, your group may qualify for a special discount.

From office teams and cycling clubs to friends and families, group rides are one of the best parts of Bike the Bay. Many teams come dressed in matching outfits, costumes, and themed gear, turning the ride into a rolling celebration around San Diego Bay.
