Hi Farm Friends and Family,

It’s been way too long. I just want to let you know that your founding support at Lasso Farms did not end when our farm programs did.

You and the Lasso Farms family encouraged me to grow the mission of youth wellbeing through activity and sports and your founding donations sponsored the creation of Lasso Safe, now an organization that has impacted the wellness and safety of many young equestrians, sports participants and athletes. Thank you for being there from the start!

Alice is keeping our family in check during our vacation! This isnt the most entertaining video of them all, but for those who know horse training, its the most impressive. My 4yo daughter, 28yo quarter and 5 month old gypsy. WOW family, Im so proud of you all!

Hi Farm Family, we have been nose deep in business, and miss all of you! Here is a quick update on our developments...

The athletic community heard about our work and have embraced us! Farm life seems like an unusual but perfect union. Athletes will balance their high stress levels with organic meals and grounding activities such as horse trail rides. Their high profile can give back to the foundation by gaining exposure for community farm programs like the ones you joined this past year.

TEAM MEMBERS
First, I would like to introduce you to our new partner and co-founder, Luis Hernandez. Six time national champion and four time world team member, Luis is a long-time friend and astonishing figure skater.

We have also welcomed Jarrod Shoemaker and Alicia Kaye onto our board. A power couple, Jarrod is an Olympian triathlete and Alicia is winning championships world wide in Ironmans.

Farm family member and fantastic dad, Shai Larkin, is our resident lawyer.

Farm family members and awesome family in general, the Markhams are leading childhood development.

WHAT WE ARE DOING
Lasso (the horse): our namesake has adopted his little brother and is absolutely amazing with him. They are enjoying their free time in Ramona and roaming on open land. Always the healer, Lasso is carrying a dear friend and farm family member, Burt Lo, through a very difficult time. Burt is suffering terribly from stage 4 cancer. He is finding support in equine therapy, along with his wife and four year old son. Please send LOVE to this special family. Pictures attached.

Lasso Farms (the foundation): our mission is to facilitate a lifestyle of connection with yourself, nature and the community. I, personally, have never been a part of something so celebrated or embraced. I fell into this, and it has been a profound blessing. Our board is coming together, with just a few seats to still be filled. Once filled, we will actively begin fund raising and locating an urban lot.

Happy Holidays, Farm Family! We had so much fun at our fund raiser, and adored your little Halloween models. The costume competition MUST become an annual party! Huge thanks for all your support! It truly touches our hearts, and we are excited about our families' future together.

Save the date for Horse Camping: Oct 19-21

Hi Farm Family, happy Fall! Horse camping is tenting with your equine just like our settlers did. If you would like to join our adventure, please save the date for Oct 19-21. I am just clearing up some new policies at the Green Valley Area campground, and will post the official event in the next couple of days!
