It was a mixed day for our Clairemont Hilltoppers All-Star teams as tournament play continued across the district.

Our Intermediate and Juniors All-Stars saw their tournament runs come to an end. A huge thank you to these players and coaches for representing Hilltoppers with tremendous effort, sportsmanship, and pride throughout the postseason. 💙💛

The 8-9-10 All-Stars opened tournament play in impressive fashion with a 9-1 victory over host University City. Strong pitching, solid defense, and timely hitting helped power the win. They’ll be back in action Wednesday, June 17 at 5:00 PM at University City against an opponent to be determined.

Next up, our 9-10-11 All-Stars begin their tournament journey on Sunday with a 4:00 PM matchup against University City at the Point Loma Little League fields.

There are still plenty of opportunities to come out and support our Hilltopper All-Stars. Let’s pack the stands and cheer them on! ⚾💙💛

It was a mixed result for Hilltoppers All Star teams on Saturday, as tournaments continue across our District.

Unfortunately, both our Intermediate and Juniors All-Stars lost this morning, bringing an end to their tournaments runs. Many thanks to the kids and coaches of these two teams for representing our league with great effort and sportsmanship.

Meanwhile, our 8-9-10 All Stars openied their tournament play with a 9-1 win over the host University City team. With great pitching and defense, along with timely hitting, these boys are off to a great start. They will be back in action next on Wednesday, June 17 at 5 p.m. at University City against a team TBD.

Finally, on Sunday our 9-10-11 team will get underway with a 4 p.m. game against University City at the Point Loma Little League fields.

Still lots of chances to come support our teams!,

⚾️ HILLTOPPER FAMILIES — WE NEED YOUR HELP! ⚾️

Clairemont Hilltoppers Little League is 100% volunteer-run, and we have two important opportunities coming up where we need our community to step up.

🔨 Work Party
📅 Saturday June 13th
⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

🏆 Intermediate All-Star Tournament
📅 June 22 – July 17

We’re looking for volunteers to help with field prep, scorekeeping, announcing, snack bar shifts, setup, cleanup, and tournament operations.

The reality is that many of these responsibilities often fall on the same small group of families. We’re incredibly grateful for their dedication, but we’d love to see more of our Hilltopper community get involved and help share the workload.

Whether your player is participating in postseason baseball or your family has enjoyed a great season, please consider signing up for a shift or two. Every volunteer hour makes a difference.

Minors Division player Liam Braun #2 of the Cheetahs hit a home run during that will be talked about for years to come.

While most players step up to the plate with aluminum bats, Liam chose to swing a wooden bat and absolutely crushed one over the right field fence.

A special moment for Liam, his teammates, coaches, and everyone lucky enough to witness it.
