We celebrated 37 incredible students as they prepare to begin their next chapter with many heading off to 4-year colleges, including several earning full-ride scholarships! 🙌📚
We were honored to recognize students for:�🏆 Best Attendance�🤝 Most Community Service Hours�⭐ Most Improved Student
A special thank you to the officers from the San Diego Police Department who have stood alongside these students throughout their journey and shared unforgettable words of encouragement and inspiration.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support, celebrate, and help make this day so meaningful. We are beyond proud of each and every graduate and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish. 💙

Today was a day of growth—literally 🌱
Our Making Changes students teamed up with Planting Groundwork San Diego and got their hands in the soil to make a real impact. They kicked off the morning planting aloe vera, created their own personal succulent arrangements, and even harvested fresh serrano peppers straight from the greenhouse to take home 🌶️.
We wrapped up the day feeling inspired after hearing from The Green Team and Canyon Connection Advocacy groups, two incredible high school internship programs who shared the powerful before-and-after transformations of revitalized community parks.
Proud of our students for learning, growing, and giving back to the spaces around them 💚�

After a year of hard work raising awareness about underage drinking, we celebrated our amazing Friday Night Live (FNL) students with a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm 🎢
From nonstop laughs, to screaming our heads off on the rides, to simply enjoying these moments together it’s safe to say we had an unforgettable day. We can all agree… it was a good one ❤️

Today our We Can students spent their morning picking up trash and pulling a ton of weeds 🌱☀️ It was hard work in the heat, but they showed up, stayed strong, and got it done.
We’re so proud and incredibly thankful for all the effort they put in today what a difference they made! 💚🙌

Today our Making Changes students got hands-on with driver safety thanks to an amazing session by Girlie Garage! 🚗✨
Students used their own cars to learn essential skills like checking air filters, monitoring tire pressure, inspecting oil levels, and so much more. It was an empowering and practical experience that gave them real-world knowledge to stay safe on the road.
We love seeing our students engaged, learning, and building confidence this was definitely a lesson they’ll remember! 💪🛠️

This week was full of fun, creativity, and celebration for our We Can and Making Changes students! 🎨🐣
They got their hands dirty painting Easter eggs, enjoyed an exciting egg hunt with special gift cards and Slurpee prizes, and topped it all off with some delicious pizza and ice cream. 🍕🍦

Today, parents came together to learn about the realities of drug use in our community, with a special focus on the growing fentanyl crisis presented by the San Diego District Attorney’s Office.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, asked questions, and took an active role in staying informed. Your support and commitment help keep our families and neighborhoods safer. Awareness is the first step toward prevention together, we can make a difference.

So grateful to have our Making Changes Alumni come together today 🤍 We reconnected, laughed, shared great food and desserts, caught up on life, and even set goals for 2026. It was truly special seeing everyone again after 2, 3, even 4 years- a beautiful reminder that the bond never fades. ✨

Celebrating our 5th Annual Santa’s Pals 🎄❤️�This year we were honored to serve 150+ kids- from hot chocolate and food giveaways to free toys and makeup, plus special visits from Santa and the Grinch that truly made the kids’ day 🎅💚�A huge thank you to all of our partners and volunteers who came out to help make this event unforgettable. We couldn’t do it without you!
