Hello All,

We are well over 100 members on our UCSD NAK Slack channel... we chose this platform to progress from the antiquated email system and to begin to familiarize new AA and UGs on one of the most widely used project management apps in the US. Here’s a snapshot of the organizations that I use it with including my current company . Even within my company, it is more heavily used than email.

UCSD NAK Alumni Association - Get your hall pass ready for the first UCSD NAK networking and AA brainstorming session of the year. It’ll be a full day event with a night out with your significant other. We are working on the date and venue but start sending the Mrs or Mr some candy , flowers, jewelry etc to prime that pump 😂! Most likely Leaf Force 1 will be retired after this and Model S Force 1 will be ready for a similar event in LA followed by SF. Bring your business and political aspirations/ideas as well 😉 Stay tuned!

Alright NAK family...last call for all those that want to compete in this year’s UCSD AA NAK Brewfest. The theme this year is Red Ale. Who will knockout the reigning champ, Vicente Hernandez? Last year’s winner was also allowed to brew their recipe at the host brewery. This year we are tentatively approved to compete at Attitude Brewing in Barrio Logan in August (Date TBD). It is family friendly and open to all. ( https://attitudebrewing.com )

Contact Abel Gutierrez directly for more details if you’d like to compete. Competition will be locked in two weeks , July 7th.

NAK Poker Night Fundraiser
Please join us for the first Poker Night Fundraiser hosted by the UCSD NAK Alumni Association and the undergraduate brothers of the Lambda Chapter. The event will begin at 1:00 pm and end at 4:00 pm.
We will be playing Texas Hold'em!

Food will be available for purchase in the form of tickets; a select amount of tickets will be included with each Tier option and additional tickets will be available for purchase during the event at $2.00 a ticket. Call drinks will be available for purchase via tickets for those that are 21 years of age or older.

Please drink responsibly! Brothers will be available to coordinate rides from the event if needed. Please ask about our DD Deals!
