A year ago POC launched its Culinary Program with this group of talented young adults, now we are working hard to provide this amazing program for another class, stay tuned!

All suited up to be the next TOP CHEF. POC's first culinary class. Training former foster kids culinary arts to have a better chance at finding a job. Please help donate at pocfoundation.org funds are needed for the next group of youth. Much love to

Help end homelessness.
According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness' State of Homelessness in America 2015 report, on a single night in January 2014, 578,424 people were experiencing homelessness nationwide (they were sleeping outside or in an emergency shelter or transitional housing program); from 2013 to 2014 overall homelessness decreased in 34 states and increased in 17 states. San Diego County's foster care system is responsible for approximately 6,500 youth, with around 300 of them leaving the system each year. Those not reunited with their families, adopted or paired with a guardian emancipate from the system at age 18 and face grim future prospects:

50% will end up unemployed
33% will require public assistance
25% will become incarcerated
Less than 10% will attend college
Only 3% will actually graduate college
